SwissImpactWeek2026:GenevaStructuringAfrica'sInfrastructureFuture
From 5–9 October 2026, LCPA convenes governmental delegates, Heads of Kingdoms from more than 20 African countries, sovereign wealth funds, DFIs, institutional investors and family offices in Geneva — positioning the city as a trusted gateway for catalytic capital mobilization aligned with international best practices.

Why Geneva, Why Now
Africa's infrastructure financing gap calls for bankable, de-risked pipelines brought directly to institutional capital. Geneva's diplomatic and financial ecosystem — LBMA-certified refineries, secure freeports, established private banking, and a legal framework built on the Swiss Code of Obligations and the Financial Market Infrastructure Act — gives African governments a neutral, regulated bridge to international capital markets.
Within this framework, the 'Geneva Gateway' model allows the collateralization of non-liquid sovereign assets such as gold, artwork and gemstones under fully compliant Swiss regulations, enabling liquidity through instruments like Lombard financing.
