WhatEmergenceActuallyIs

Emergence is a small, invitation-led gathering during UNGA 81 for people building new ways to connect knowledge, capital, technology and action around climate, development and regeneration. There is no conference to sit through.

Instead, we are creating a space for people who are already building things to meet others working on adjacent problems, exchange what they've learned, and discover possibilities that may not be visible from within their own sector.

No Stage, No Plenaries, No Pitch Decks

There isn't a single conference programme that everyone has to follow. Instead, we shape conversations around what you are working on, what you want to explore and who you should meet.

Because Emergence is deliberately small, you can actually have a conversation rather than collect another stack of business cards.

Three organisations are helping convene the week. The interesting part is what happens between them.

Fordham University
Provides the academic and institutional setting for the week.
KAITHA
Brings experience at the intersection of tourism, development, humanitarian response and climate resilience.
coOwn
Provides the digital ground, a collaborative intelligence infrastructure that allows organisations and people to build, organise and work with shared knowledge.

Emergence is free to attend, but places are limited. Tell us a little about yourself, what you're working on and what you'd be interested in exploring — we'll use that to help make the right introductions.
