Schools of Traditions

At the heart of every Embassy is a School of Traditions — a land-based, multigenerational cultural centre modelled on the Kateyuve Centre in the Brazilian Amazon. Here, Yawanawá indigenous teachings are transmitted alongside recovered European earth practices.

Each year, the Embassy network convenes its flagship conference — placing indigenous voices directly before global decision-makers on climate and community policy. This is not a panel discussion about indigenous people. It is indigenous people speaking for themselves, on their terms, to those who hold institutional power.

The goal is not to recreate the Amazon in Europe — it is to remember what European land already knows, guided by those who have never forgotten how to listen.
